A YOUNG WOMAN IS DISCOVERED ON THE STAGE RIGHT LIFT, LIT IN SUCH A WAY THAT SHE SEEMS TO BE FLOATING IN MID AIR. AT THE FOOT OF HER LIFT IS A PAGE, WHO WILL OPERATE THE CRANK WHEN APPROPRIATE.
